I feel that I have learned more about mass communications in this class using the wall street journal than using a text book. I am more current and up to date with the world, which no text book could possibly do. Could we have taken a midterm or final, maybe but it would not have changed the knowledge that I have received. The world changes everyday and by reading the wall street journal and continuing my subscription I feel more confident in myself with the knowledge I receive from it and take with me everyday. The world is a changing place that cannot be stopped and I want to keep up with it. I can watch the news but I prefer to read about it. Have the time to look it over again to analyze what they are saying to understand when it means and to take from it what I know is necessary in life.
My original major was straight public relations which I have now decided to change to sports marketing, possibly broadcasting.I have friends in places I know will help if I ask. To get my degree in the sports related field is an amazing place. Always moving,changing,never boring.To live a life doing something I love and exciting...that is the way to live.
