Social Networking

I have accounts with twitter, Myspace and Facebook. Out of the three I use Facebook more than I watch television. It is the best way to get a hold of friends that live in other states, or to send party invites because they are an instant connection. Whenever someone puts something on their page or mine I get a notification. Facebook is very important to me. I keep in touch with people I haven't talked to in over eight years. They are friends that I never should have lost contact with but people grow apart and without the Internet keeping in touch would be non-existent. I used to write letters and mail out cards, but it doesn't keep things current. It takes days to get to the person and from the time you write it to the time you send your letter new things happen, you can;t keep up with life. If I had to pay for the services I would get rid of Myspace. Facebook I can't put a price on, I would pay what it takes to keep it if everyone that I am connected to would keep it as well. Twitter I don't update very often but would possibly pay ten dollars a year. I will being using it for professional contacts and as a business connection.
